Can anyone help me? I have a 1.6 Diesel Airdream 90 and everytime I turn engine on a service light is displayed and panel says engine fault repair needed. Previously I have carried out procedure to cancel service light as car was serviced 6 months ago by Halfords. Engine seems perfectly happy as I have driven it 60 miles after incident. What could be wrong?

The car has detected a fault with the engine and has requested diagnostics to identify the fault.tomt wrote:I turn engine on a service light is displayed and panel says engine fault repair needed.
It seems to me a bit crazy to me to continue to drive it if there is a fault that could be causing and expensive repair.
Connect up a lexia clone tool or diagbox to read the fault codes that indicate where the problem lies.
The Diagbox topic is here that explains what it is used for.
