Hi
I got P1351 code. It seems to be preheat reley for glow plugs. Now its warm outside so engine starts nice. Where is the relay located? I would like to change it anyway before winter.

Are you in the UK? If so, those 'pre-heat' glow lugs rarely get used in pre-heat mode, only post heat mode.

P1351 is a manufacturer specific code, so it would be worth checking the correct definition by connecting lexia tool and getting the code for your engine so you change the right parts.

The lexia topic is here.

Then if it does turn out to be a pre/post heat relay fault, the glow plugs themselves should be tested also because bad glow plugs do damage the relay. Citroen would just do both at the same time.

But when you get into finding and removing faulty glow plugs you wish you never started because they snap off in the head and wonder if it was going to make any difference anyway :(

The pre/post heat relay is under the bumper and behind the lead light on the left side.

Im in gothenburg sweden i remeber the preheat light in dashboard light on in febuary. I think i damaged the relay when i was dealing with memory lines for a nonoriginal cdplayer that lost memory every time i turned of the car and the "timer" turn of the power. I did conect something and it turned on power by it self couple of times and it went to the "something mode". Engine light went on when i coneced odbreader it was like 4 codes, dont remember what codes. All cleared but p1351. So i think i damaged the reley:)

Check the fuses in the engine bay because the Relay is protected by a fuse.
