Hello folks,

I have slight problem. Overheated engine warning light keeps popping up after few miles of driving from cold. Also STOP in bright red letters and constant bleeping.

Have checked the coolant levels, all ok.

There is no way engine could get overheated after such a short time.

Can it be sensors fault? Or is it better to take the car to the garage for diagnosis?

Appreciate your help! 🤝

Hello

Considering you don't know anything about your engine, I would say you are going to be much better off getting the car to a garage to investigate and fix the problem.

It could easily be a faulty sensor and a mechanic will be the best person to identify it and then change it, or do what is needed to stop the message 'Overheated engine warning' from popping up.
