Recently changed my C3 Picasso from 10 plate petrol for a 13 plate diesel, my weekly mileage went through the roof when my son changed schools and it seemed at the time economic sense... my petrol was achieving 30 around time and the stats for the diesel looked impressive but now we had the car a few months , I'm pretty disappointed
Whilst I live in the real world and the claimed figures by Citroen of 60mpg around town was never going to be an achievable figure, even at 20% less still would have expected the car to be doing anything from 44mpg to 46mpg and I would say we are not even getting this....the tyres are correct pressure, we don't have mountains of crap and we only fuel half a tank a time to keep the vehicle light but how ever much I drive it around like Miss Daisy its not happening...
Beginning to question is this poor down to a mechanical issue which I need to take the vehicle back to Citroen -- Car is a 1.6HDI 90 VTR+
I am interested in finding out what mpg everyone is getting... i.e. urban ( around town )
