missing part on the top of engine, what is that?

I have just bought a C3 diesel. car runs properly. there is air blow , leaking form exhaust.
I just spotted one part is missing. There must be something there before. now i can see a whole underthere.
Anybody can tell me what that missing part is? just bolt? i have taken photo for it . Thank you very much.

It does look like a bolt is missing, but I can't find it on any diagrams and don't have a C3 with the same engine to compare. Its it part of the intake system and probably is not going to be part of your exhaust leak, which would be quite easy to spot.
