How long should I pump a primer?

Questions specifically about a Diesel powered C3 (usually engine or fuel related problems)

Hi! I drive c3 2003 hdi 1.4, so I've changed the leaking primer and fitted the new one, now the problem is after I've pumped primer until it tighten up my car starts for few minutes then engen stops, then I prime it but still it runs then stops. How can I solve this problem?

You hand prime the fuel until the hand primer stiffens a bit. Usually about 4 or 5 hand pumps.

You still have air in the system or, possibly the connections are poor and you are introducing air back in.

Do you have photos of the parts you changed? (The old bits you took off would do)

You may just need to keep trying and starting and running if you have double checked the replacement parts and the connections.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)
