Hi;
Thank you for adding me and I apologise if I start my post the wrong way regards policy of the forum, I have come here probably as many others in a desperate bid to get help, I have done much searching and research but I am having no luck and while this is the car is useless.
Months ago I ordered injector seals for the C3 from ebay and recently decided to tackle the cars injectors but with an oversight on my part and the seller sending me the wrong parts (for 1.6), which I specifically stated the details of the car obviously the parts are no good.
Because I have never done this before particularly injector seals I hadn’t noticed this until I had removed an injector and the seating seal, just to make myself feel a little better having removed the seal it was worn as I spray cleaned around the injector and blew out with canned air and the engine went lumpy implying to me it was leaking any way.
I have phoned motor factors in my area as well as carrying out extensive searches on line, with no luck, searches appear to show 1.6 not 1.4hdi details and appear to have an additional plastic spacer that is not used on my car. I have been putting off contacting a main dealer for reasons of cost but may have to approach them if I have no luck as the car will just end up a lump on metal.
One thing I have noticed in my searches is seals I have seen have a inner flared skirt of rubber which I don’t think is suited for my car as the seal goes into a recess and around an inner steel sleeve, then the injector slides in and I believe the sleeve goes in slightly to a collar on the injector with the remainder of that collar seating down on the seal.
So this is my dilemma I need to get the kit for my injectors but I do not know where to apply to get them sent, I don’t even know why it is so hard to source them, I wondered if there is anyone in the know of this subject that may know of any other kits that may fit the car, I know that some manufactures used engines and parts from other manufacturers, for some reason in my searches Ford kept coming up a lot, just guessing.
Any help would truly be appreciated, although the car details may show up in my post signature or not I will state here; 2003 Citroen C3 Exclusive, 1.4hdi, 16 valve, manual gearbox with Delphi injectors.
Thank you…

Hi
I can tell you why they are difficult to find. That is because it's a part that doesn't get changed. The rubber seal and the sleeve stay in the head for the life of the engine and if injectors get changed, the sleeve and seal is never removed.
The delphi injection system was used on several different manufacturers engines and ford is one of those, the parts are delphi parts and interchangeable between the similar engines of that era (2002).for some reason in my searches Ford kept coming up a lot, just guessing.
I will have a look for a part number for you and some better diagrams.
