Hi all. In need of help. I've done lots of research and work but not resolved so story so far.
Bought a 2010 1.6 hdi 16 valve a few weeks back. Very pleased with it drove very nicely then after a couple of weeks went into limp mode. I was driving with Windows down and did hear a noise similar to external wastegate just before going into limp mode. Checked wastegate actuator moves freely and holds vacuum.
So I splashed out and bought Lexia which showed codes for maf and egr which I have sorted. Only codes now showing are
P0694 fan low speed control
P1351 overheating circuit
Am I correct in saying these would not cause the car to go into limp mode?
Car will still not the past 3000 and at no time has EML come on
I replaced maf and blanked off her to clear those codes.
I'm struggling to know what to try next.
No smoke at all from engine still drives but no power.
I have serviced it and replaced fuel filter.
Sorry for long post but I have done a lot of searches on here and can't find any more info.
Thanks Don

Hi
Can you clear the remaining codes stored?
If not, would you screen shot them (not a phone) of the remaining faults that are listed as permanent and attach them to this topic.

The screen shots are needed because the P codes and the descriptions need further looking into.

Are you sure it is the turbo and not the turbo variable vane control? (do you have the turbo with the VV system)? Or do you have the classic waste gate version?

There is a Citroen C3 turbo strip down and rebuild topic here, but I would think that a recovered turbo would be a better choice or a recon unit depending on budget. Just be sure that the oil feed filter is checked/changed - the one that feeds the turbo bearing.
