Afternoon all,
My partner has a 2012, 1.4Hdi airdream.
It has had an ongoing engine management light issue, while driving, after so long on a motorway the EML would come on along with the service light, also performance would be limited until the service light went off. The engine light would stay on and every now and them the service light would come back on and performance (acceleration) would be limited.
This went on for a while so she had it looked at, the garage replaced her turbo and turbo actuator, a week later the lights came back on and the same problems. The garage said they would take a look and that it must be another issue......dont really want to take it back as starting to feel a bit robbed.
Im hoping the garage may have overlooked something simple (very hopeful) like a split pipe etc....
Not sure where to start, does anybody have any advice?
Not massively mechanically minded but im wiling to spend time and have (some) patience.
Thanks very much,
Steve.

Hi stereadman
Use a lexia system tool (like this) to read the most codes on a late model diesel C3.
This topic has a lot of information about the lexia system requirements.
Limp mode has been activated. The first thing to do is read the codes stored in the computer to look at why the code came on. This can then lead you to which part of the system to inspect, test or change.stereadman wrote:It has had an ongoing engine management light issue, while driving, after so long on a motorway the EML would come on along with the service light, also performance would be limited until the service light went off.
