Hello,
i would like to substitute the engine radiator of my c3,
because it loses water.
Is it difficult to dismount?
The radiator fan is easy to dismount, then there are two rubber tubes, one on top and the other on bottom ,
that are easy to detach.
Then what screws i have to unscrew? How is hold the radiator?
Thanks!!

Its not very complicated to remove the radiator, but you will need to remove the bonnet locking catch assembly, which may not be obvious until you start to remove the radiator. The radiator is mounted on rubber mouldings which need to be released.vicolodo wrote:Hello,

You can get a good price on a new radiator by following this link to Euro Car Parts, there are several radiators for the C3 and some replacement ones may require a blanking plug to fit correctly.
The large hose clips should be replaced and stainless or zinc plated jubilee clips are a good substitute to the factory fit ones.
It would be a good time to replace all the coolant if yours is a few years old.

Hello
thank you!
I removed the bonnet locking assembly (it was easy, only two bolts to unscrew...), the fan, the two rubber tubes, the small tube on the side.
Now i wonder if there are screws that hold the radiator in its position, or if it is only held by the rubber mouldings.
I see there are on the top two cylindrical rubber/plastic mouldings, that are wedged in two plastic boxes, that you can see in the picture below (see the red arrows):
I suppose i have to remove these plastic/rubber cylinders, to remove the radiator. How can i remove them?
It is enought to push the radiator forward?
Thank you!

Release those clips that mount the radiator at the top, as seen in the photovicolodo wrote:I suppose i have to remove these plastic/rubber cylinders, to remove the radiator. How can i remove them?

And then you can pull the top of the radiator towards the engine and its should be ready to come out of the engine bay
