hi all
ive just cleared all codes ussing lexia but one wont clear it says the glow plug relay is open circuit or short circuited .will this cause the management light to stay on

If you have cleared all the codes, bar one and you still have the MIL (engine management light) on, then it would be reasonable to say that is the reason.

Many of these C3 diesels have the similar glow plug relay fault, I don't recall if it brings the light on or not.


Anyway, a bad glow plug can make the relay go bad and a bad relay can make the glow plugs fail.


It is uncommon to change, even faulty glow plugs because they are such a problem to change.


The glow plug relay is not ideal either, hidden behind the front bumper.
