I have a 66 plate c3 flair 1.6diesel
When I fuel up the engine management light comes on I’ve had the filter and sensor changed and also had 2 magnet sensors added that were missing from the fuel cap.The light goes of after a few times switching the engine of then back on .I’m told that there is a software glitch that hasn’t got a patch or update yet.
Does anyone else have this issue and is there any tricks or tips to remedy this till the software is available.

Hi

I think you have already found the workaround:
The light goes of after a few times switching the engine of then back on

I assume you have had a diagnostic check to see what fault is bringing on the MIL (engine light).

If you haven't, it may be worth getting the codes read as there may be more than one fault.

Hi yeah had it on diagnostic computer several times hence new fuel filter and sensors.
I was just wondering how common the fault is.I guess I just got to suck it up till Citroen come up with a patch or maybe my software is at fault will check the version I am running and see if there is a newer version that maybe get rid 🙃🙈
