engine cool light (blue)

Hi I have a Citroen C3 picasso 09plate. On the dash the blue temp light comes on, in the manual it says engine is cool, is that normal or how do i fix the problem?? Thanks and best wishes Paul

It is normal for the light to be on when you start the car from cold. The light normally goes out after ~ 5 minutes of driving. You should only see the light when the car has been standing for a fair length of time, like overnight. If it comes on at any other time, the is a fault.
