ecu matching to my car ?? 1.4 hdi 8hy model delphi type

ok hi again how far do i need to go to match ecu to my car ie obviously c3 1.4 16v hdi model 8hy delphi original ecu part number etc ? i know i will need bsi kit but if i got say c3 1.4 hdi 16v taken from 2002-2003 delphi with slighty different part number would that work with bit programming ??

I don't think there are different part numbers for the ECU for the Delphi injection system on the C3 16v.

Which ones have you seen and which one do you have?


The BSI carries all the information on what options are fitted, like a/c, front fogs, cruise control etc. These will need reconfiguring if you have a BSI from a different spec car.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

Hello again maty well I have an ecu matching part number to own ecu!! But I pretty sure I will need bsi keys etc or immo disabled in order for it to work my engine and obviously programed slightly? Ie injectors coded

Yes, you will need the matching BSI (the one from the same car as the ECU).

The car will run without injectors coded, but you will get better running if you can code them. Its best to save the screen shot of your existing injector configuration before making the swap. Use Lexia for all the coding.

as you say, immo off is your other option, but I don't know anyone currently offering this service.

Ok thanks for info my ecu was sent aeay ti AUTOELEC but having looked at some reviews cant be sure they repaired it? Hence alk the questions!!
