hello,
I have CItreon c3 mk 2 2010 1.4 hdi Connection that belongs to my neice.
she recently got a message pop on her screen saying additive is low, about 3 days ago, car done I think about 87k on clock, I told her to park thecar up and not drive it just ase she blocks the dpf.
I had the car diagnosed by mobile diagnostic yesterday, he confirmed that addivitie was low at 18%.
Q. what I want to know is what type of fluid does my car need and how many liters I need of it. he said he'll come back to reset the the additive fluid once it's topped up
thanks

Its like refilling the printer ink cartridges.
You need patience and good way to seal it up again after a refill, then clean up the mess.
It may just be better to get a new pouch and fit that, for speed to get the car running again quickly.
Keep the old pouch to refill it at your leisure and have it ready for the next time it runs out?
The euro car parts compatible 1litre DPF fluid (here) is £50. I don't know what a new full pouch would cost and knowing that may make the decision on the best way forward for you

Yes, Citroen supply full pouches with the correct fluid.
Citroen don't recommend refilling-them, they like to sell the full pouch.
Obviously there are aftermarket full pouches too (eBay), these are cheaper than the Citroen supplied part, but still full.

I would say go down the fill it yourself with the bottles if you think you can do it OK.
That way the car is back on the road sooner.
Ask someone else to hold the camera and record it for a youtube
Post the youtube and your experience here too, so it can help anyone else make the same decision as there will be many more diesel C3s popping up with empty eolys/DPF/FAP tanks soon.
