I have a 2004 1.4HDi.

I have noticed a cooling matrix of some sort under the car inline with the front seats. Can anyone tell me what it is for please, and should it have a cover?

Thanks.

Hello

It is the diesel fuel return cooling system. It cools the return fuel for the tank in free air. Adding a cover would reduce the cooling efficiency, I would imagine.
