hi im new to forum i recently brought a high mileage c3 1.4 diesel 8v after 20 miles the head gasket blew. i have had it repaired at considerable expense but now we keep getting the engine overheating warning light and both top and bottom radiator hoses are rock hard and hot !!!! there doesnt seem to be any sign of the fan coming on either does anyone have any ideas on a cure

As Robin Preston said, check the thermostat is working correctly.

Its on the right had side of the engine as you face the engine bay.
