Hi my daughter has a c3 hdi 1.4 at tickover and upto 200rpm it runs fine but soon as it goes over 2000rpm it is trying to cut out or die with battery light coming on soon as it goes back under everything is normal my mechanic has said it might need to be reset with a citroen lexia machine to correct fault thanks

You are more likely to have a fault that needs diagnosing and a repair, but which ever it is, the Lexia tool you mention will be used for both. You can buy a clone of the lexia tool so you can do the work yourself that the mechanic has suggested. Have a look at this link to amazon and this link to ebay to see the lexia units for sale which connect to a laptop.

If you use lexia and get any codes from it, please screen shot them and attach the images to your topic and someone can help you diagnose the fault or faults they indicate.
You mention a mechanic, so I assume the service schedule is up-to-date and there are no obvious faults present

You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel
