Hi all,
I've registred this forum as a last resort since no one seems to find the problem on my girlfriend C3. The problem is what I suppose Englishman calls car jerking (sorry, I'm Portuguese and not an English native speaker).
Simply put, the car seems like it has "kangaroo diesel" in it most of the times when taking off in first or when hitting the gas on 2nd or 3rd gear after a slowdown. All motor mounts are fine and the car has just left the mechanic with all injectors cleaned, all shims, injector cable and plugs replaced but the car still jerks, although a bit less.
If anyone already experienced this same problem or has any insight about this issue and could share a light on it I would be very appreciated.
Thank in advance.
Alex

Hi Alex, welcome to the forum.
If there are no codes, check the battery connections and the battery earth and power connections. Try the car again and check for faults. No faults and the battery supply is OK, then its probably mechanical.

Yes, "kangaroo diesel" - a good description.naavt wrote:The problem is what I suppose Englishman calls car jerking
I don't know what these are on a C3 Diesel.naavt wrote:all shims
I have not had this problem myself. But if I had to diagnose it, my first checks would be to find out if its a mechanical problem (like engine mounts) or a fuel/engine related problem (like injectors). I use the lexia clone tool or possibly a cheap OBD type reader to see the error codes generated by the engine.naavt wrote:If anyone already experienced this same problem or has any insight about this issue and could share a light on it I would be very appreciated.
