Car gets stop while driving

Hi All,

I have Citroen C3 2009 model ( Diesel) car. I am facing the issue which comes randomly. While driving,engine of my car gets stop suddenly and 'Oil level pressure too low' flashes on the display screen. I twist the ignition key and my car gets start again.

This issue happens randonly.I am not able to understand what is the issue and what I need to do ?

In my car , quantity of oil is fine.I have already done below points but still facing the same issue .

1) Engine Flush
2)Pollen Filter replace
3) Fuel Filter replace
4) Brake fluid

Please let me know what exactly would be the reason of this probelm.

I can say for sure items 2,3 and 4 have nothing to do with it.

How many miles has it done?

And has it had the regular oil and filter changes through those miles?

Was the correct oil used?

There was a problem reported a few years ago with cheap oil filters collapsing internally and stopping oil flow. This would lead to low oil pressure. I suggest that you replace the filter as the inexpensive first step.

I purchased this car recently. Total mileage till now is 97000 miles. I faced this issue then mentioned this to garage guy then did these changes but i still face this issue randomly.

I went to some other place , near about travelled 135 miles but i didnt face this issue on that trip.

I just want to understand whats the reason and what is the solution.
