Hi everyone,

Just bought a used 2002 C3 with the 1.4 HDI diesel engine (8 valve DV4TD)

I've just put it up on the ramps to do some basic servicing, and noticed this hose hanging down (see photos).

I can't see where it goes without removing components. Does anyone know at a glance what it could be before I start disconnecting stuff?

Cheers.

Hello daveyboy

It's nothing to worry about.

The end you can see doesn't connect to anything.

Cheers Arfur, you've saved me a job looking further into that. Happy to know everyone's got one 8-)

I've guessing it's some sort of ventilation from the crankcase or something?

Thanks again.

Isn't that the pipe for draining the water out of the diesel filter?
