Its not an easy fix :( unless you are very lucky. The wiring harness covers pretty much the whole engine bay, and is very complicated. The problem has not yet been pinpointed so, potentially the whole wiring harness needs checking. Its like finding a needle in a haystack.

If you get some diagnostics done, the fault codes or the telling lack of fault codes may point you in the direction of which sections of the wiring harness to check, but its still a long job to identify the actual part of the harness at fault.

The only diagnostics you can do yourself, for your particular mode and year is with a Lexia Tool from eBay
, not for the non-computer person. If you have plenty of time, then check all the connections are nice and clean and tight and that there is no damage to the wiring - this will take many, many hours.

have a look at these on ebay and you can see the wiring. Its the big plug (IC60) that's going to be the problem, its got a lot of wires in it.

The wiring for the injectors goes from the wiring loom you have had changed and makes it way to the engine ECU - in the battery compartment. Look for damage to the wiring.

Did the diagnostics people explain why No4 injectors is not faulty, even though they seem to indicate it is?

Have a look here - on ebay for the full kit of ECU BSI and keys, this way you avoid the problem of immobiliser paring and you get a replacement ECU. They are in your price range ;)

If BBA Reman don't do it, then its probably just not economical to repair them.
