Hi, I bought a 2013 1.6 diesel C3 Airdream last week, and all seems well so far apart from the blue coolant light always being on when starting the engine. Even in 25 degree afternoon heat the other day it was on. Tends to turn off after driving for 5-15 minutes or not being on again after stopping the car for a short break (I.e popping in to local shop).
Is this normal? The coolant reservoir looks ok and at an ideal level.

Hi aridley88, welcome to the forum
Yes, this blue coolant light will come on when the ECU considers the engine to be 'cold'. The light will go out after a few minutes of driving as the engine coolant temperature warms up.
Citroen suggest to protect the engine that you should not drive the engine too hard while the light is on.

Thanks for clarifying! I haven’t experienced this in any other cars, good to know it is considered normal for the C3.
