Have a 59 plate C3 Picasso and this message appears when ignition turned on then disappears. Not sure if car has DPF
Only done 15k when bought last year but since then have done another 15k Any thoughts on whether have DPF and what fault message is

Hi Abitthick, protecting the DPF/FAP is an important cost-saving procedure if you have one fitted. If you don't know and can't find out, it would be well worth treating the car as if it had one, just in case. Try forcing the DPF to regenerate with JLM DPR Cleaner (amazon). If the fault disappears after a tank of fuel you have cured the problem.

Otherwise you will need to have the car connected to diagnostics to get a deeper fault code analysis that can give the reason for your 'Anti pollution fault' and then work out the cure. Lexia clone tool (info here) can read the code if you want to do it yourself, if not, its a trip to a Citroen garage for fault reading on a proper lexia box :)

I would contact Citroen with your VIN or registration number and they will know if your model had a FAP/DPF fitted.
