Hi.
This summer my 8hz engine stuck, and the problem was a piston path!? Shirt!? ( I don't know the name in English), that cracked and lost all of the compression. My mechanic, changed only the block but not as the same model 8hz, with pistons etc. The new block was a 8hx, and he repaired the original 8hz head gasket.
The car now have a different noise, and the engine when I start with the first gear, throttle a lot.
My question is: is the 8hx compatible with 8hz head gasket, Injectors and valves?
Sorry for any incoerent English. And thanks in advance.
8hx block with and head gasket of 8hz
