Just had my Citroen C3 2013 1.4 Diesel Automatic in for MOT and its got an advisory that says "Citroen C3 2013 1.4 Diesel front exhaust hanger Broken" no mention of it when i picked the car up advise was keep an eye on it on the service paper.

Is it likely to cause a problem and could it have been an easy fix or is it part of the exhaust system.

Hello, there is a metal spigot that is part of the exhaust system, and this fits into an exhaust mount that is attached to the car.

Either of the parts could be damaged, one requires a new mount fitted, quite easily and the other will need a new front exhaust section or at least some welding on it which is a bit more involved.

It is best to get it up on ramps and repaired, either way because with one mount failed, more pressure is put on the remaining mounts which will break next.
