2004 1.4hdi injector part

Hi does anyone know how to get the part number from the injector on a 2004 citreon c3 1.4 hdi do you have to take it out as it needs to start with 0445 and that's not the number I can see on the side can anyone help cheers chris

Hi chris

There were only 2 different injectors used on the 2004 and one is on the 8v engine (bosch) and the other is a delphi one only found on the 16v engines of 2004.

The citroen part number for the Bosch injector is 1980.CY

Hi mine is a 16v so it will be the delphi injectors yeah do you know if you have to take the injector put to get the part number cheers

I have not seen part numbers on the delphi injectors on a C3

The citroen part number is 1980.X9 and 1980.91 (the same parts) for the delphi injectors found on a 16v C3 to about 2005


You have your engine listed in the information as an 8v, so that is confusing.

Do you have a faulty injector?

What leads you to the faulty one?

Do you want to replace it or have it repaired?

The Delphi injectors on a 2004 C3 are difficult to source used and very expensive as new parts.

the DELPHI part no, is EJBR01001A, it also has a 16 digit number that has to be coded into the engine ECU
but as C3CAR asks why do you think you need to remove it, it could be electrical

Hi yes I think it's definitely a injector problem white smoke noisey under load going into limp mode

Hi chipmunk I have had a auto electrician look at it he thinks the same as mechanic faulty injectors I've been to the part number starts 0445 cheers chris
