If you plan to keep the car, I would get it done. 13 years is a long time for a belt.1968unclefester wrote:hi opinion wanted

The maximum is 150K so you are well under that, but for peace of mind you can get the water pump, cam idler roller, cam tensioner and possibly the TVD on the crank pulley done at the same time.
10 years would be a good point to change it if you are still under the 150K maximum.
Haynes suggest much less than 150K because if it breaks or shears teeth, the engine is a write off.

The turbo actuator adjustment may be all you need. Its quick and easy to do. Have a look the 1.4 16v HDi turbo actuator adjustment topic.1968unclefester wrote:thinking about doing turbo actuator at same time as it dosnt seem to boost properly from stand still

Make sure you are turning them the right way. Make it a bit longer shorter to take up the slack in the system to boost sooner.1968unclefester wrote:i did have a look at doing it but actuator rod lock nut wont undo

Not really, but if there is a particular problem with an ad, or just ads generally, can you take a screen shot, (windows screen shot help).1968unclefester wrote:also not connected can i turn off the pesky adverst that keep landing at bottom of threds i look at
and post the screen shot in forum assistance section (here).
