2003 1.4HDi Exclusive error codes

Hi guys

I'm after some help, I've just recently bought a 2003 1.4HDi Exclusive and now I'm having a problem with it. The car starts and runs.... but not very well, it seems very low on power and has no pull at all. I've taken it to my local garage and they have read the fault codes and they are as follows - I've pulled the descriptions for the codes off a website that gives the codes for Citroen/Peugeot cars

p0267 - Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Low
p0269 - Cylinder 3 Contribution/Balance Fault
p1163 - Delphi C6 - No resetting by Accelerometer, no periodic Injector resetting

Now that to me looks like a fault on the Cylinder 3 Injector and thats what the garage has suggested too (that I have the Cylinder 3 Injector replaced), but I'm the kind of person that likes a second opinion on most things, plus I've not used this garage before and i just want to know I'm not having my left lifted and that its not just a simple fix

These don't sound like the Citroen descriptions, and sound a bit generic with the exception of P1163 - which translates to probably faulty injector on a 16v engine, no the 8v you have listed.

I would suggest getting the Citroen diagnostics tool - lexia to read codes and get the correct description. Ebay is a good place to find the lexia tool (here)

If you wanted to test the injectors, try a leakoff test

and/or you can swap injectors between positions to see if the injector fault moves with the injector.
