Hello,
I started having some clacking noise on the engine for a year now. I went to a mechanic and while trying to fix it, he said that he touched the cable with the screwdriver and the clacking stopped. He assumes the cable is giving me issues.
The problem was "fixed", but recently again it started clacking. He said that injector3 is giving him errors but considering the fact that last time he "fixed" the problem by nudging the cable a bit, said that we should try to first change the cable.
However finding that in my country is pretty hard. If I could get it new I would but no parts shop have it and looking for a second hand, I've contacted several auto morgues , and they all say they that part is sold out. Only one place said they have it, but the price they asked felt like I would prefer to pay few bucks extra and get a new one...if I can find one.
So yeah...I'm looking of a part number or anything. Oh yeah and the injectors are Delphi

Have a look at there on AliExpress

Check they are the right ones, but if not you can probably find them on that site.

Delphi injector plug
Delphi injector plug
It looks like a good match to the one on the 16v 1.4HDi delphi system

Thanks for replying.
I'm actually looking for something called "harness". I didn't knew how I should translate the word the mechanic gave me. But after some web search I think that's the part I'm looking for. Still...even online I was not able to find it available...

The part is a repair part for the harness.

The actual harness is expensive and difficult to come by.

The solution is to just solder a new connector if that connector is faulty.

Just fitting a new plug is much easier than doing the whole loom (harness) assuming you can even find one (you probably can't).

Thanks,
I'll contact the mechanic and ask him if he can do it like that.

If you can't identify the part that the mechanic touched with the screwdriver, can you attach a photo to the topic following those instructions.
