Hi,

I have a C3 1.6 HDi exclusive 07 plate, it has 97,000 miles on the clock and has now the characteristics of clutch failure (difficulty changing gears, reving high after gear change, etc.) I have phoned around for a new clutch assembly and one supplier asked if it i had a dual mass flywheel. I would appreciate it if anyone knows which type these have as it can mean the difference between £100 and £350.

Hi Pete, Citroen call the flywheel on the 1.6HDi a 'CLUTCH DUAL FLYWHEEL'

and Euro Car Parts say 'Dual Mass Flywheel' for the 1.6HDi

Cheers, I've typed in the reg and its only coming up with clutch assemblies (spring plate bearing). What I'm paranoid about is taking it apart and finding out its not a solid flywheel.
