Hello. I have c3 1.4hdi 2004, with 330 000 km, 8 valves. One month ago I had during driving some violent event where I got on cyl 1, 3,4 contribution balance errors. But I deleted errors and after 10 minutes of reving heavilly I was not getting these errors, so I could continue driving (never again I got these errors). But, after that event my engine is ticking (I have chcked with screwdriver) on injector 2 and 3 heavily mostly at about 1400 rpm, and engine is loosing power in that rpm. Ticking you can hear also during DEACCELERATION also at same rpm 1400. In higher Rpm it seems everything is ok. I have bought 4 used injectors and changed all injectors and putted new seals. So it is not injectors or seal leaks. I did diagnostics multiple times (I have delphi diagnostic) and it seems everything is ok.

But problem stayed completely same. Loosing power during acceeration with not so loud ticking (like normal egine work but louder), but you can feel it in cabin. What this could be? Could it be Hydraulic lifters etc? I have new oil, all filters changed etc..

Hi

You have recorded the sound from within the cabin and are getting a muffled sound. You should record the sound of the engine for the best results because that is where the sound is generated from. Better with the bonnet open as that further helps to identify the location of the sound.

Also, the system for diagnosing C3 faults is lexia (info here) and we don't support the delphi diagnostics on the forum because lexia/diagbox is the standard here.
