Hello everyone

I drive a (year) 2012 C3 diesel powered by a 1.4lts HDi engine with FAP (Euro 5).
I' d like to know if there are specific recommendations/limitations for engine lubricating oil
and or engine coolant fluid.

Now I' am using a SAE 15W40 ordinary oil and no-name coolant.

Hi iedaskal

The FAP/DPF C3 needs a low SAPS oil to protect the filter, like this Total low saps oil for the C3. Match the SAE grade to the countries temperature range, but never use a conventional oil, only low saps.

No-Name coolant can be a problem long term and its recommended to use Comma XSR OAT or a similar spec OAT coolant.

This is the C3 oil resource tips topic

and this one is the C3 coolant resource with tips but no questions please.
