Hello all I'm Mark & new on here & yes you have guessed I have a problem with my 2011 C3, 1.4 HDI
This morning when I turned the ignition on I got the bleep with a message on the LCD display reading Oil level low, top up. I have since topped up the the correct oil and the dipstick reads correct. This message is still present each time I switch the ignition on or press the scan button on the onboard diagnostics. Has anybody else had this issue? and is this a common fault or a sensor issue. Thank you kindly advance for any advice.

Hi Mark, if you are reading the dip stick correctly and the message still appears, I would say there is a fault with sensor or the computer :(

A is MAX and B is MIN

Its not a common problem and the sensor itself doesn't usually give trouble.

For the oil level on the dip stick and the internal sensor to be correct, the C3 needs to be on level ground.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)

Strangely the car has been standing on level ground for about 5 hours and I have just checked and all is OK.
I will keep an eye on it, thanks for your help.
