How did you know the filter was dirty?

I have never seen a dirty fuel filter as they just get changed every 20 to 40K without any inspection from me.

Did you prime the new filter before fitting it?

As this can make priming the system much quicker.

Probably not as you have removed the dirt with the filter, I think you need to prime the system it more.

You should double check everything is correctly refitted to the filter in the right places.

The codes are gold.

Try to delete the codes (non permanent) and try to start again, re-read the codes and then use lexia to diagnose and fault find each code to get it running.

With something like probable P0654 'Engine RPM Output Circuit Malfunction ', the engine is not going to fire any fuel from the injectors while that fault persists.

I came a cross a 1.4 HDi 2002 non starter recently, seems to be caused by the transponder chip in the fob. The spare key works when the main key doesn't (which was intermittent). No faults present on Lexia, but I didn't look any deeper than a code scan.
