Hi, have a C3 2002 1.4hdi 70bhp model, owned about 5 years now & car has now done 170000 miles,it's been a great car & always been reliable but recently started stalling/cutting out/difficult starting, we found air in fuel line clear hose so cut back hoses under airfilter housing & repaired with new rubber fuel hose, car started run fine, went to put the air filter housing back on car while it was running but whilst putting on it stalled & now will not start at all, suspect i knocked a connection somewhere but don't seem to be able to see what so am wanting diagnostics, i've already got an obd11 reader (brought for Skoda i've got) but obviously doesn't work so looked at lexia but looks like i need xp laptop, mines windows 10, don't want to spend a fortune on dealer diagnostics prices due to low value of my car & don't want to buy an old xp just for this, does anyone local in the DL8 area have lexia & want to earn a few beer tokens or got any good ideas please?

Hi pumpkin, its is possible to run current versions of lexia on a virtual machine of windows 7 within windows 10, but you need to be a bit of a computer tech to know what you are doing.pumpkin wrote:Hi, have a C3 2002 1.4hdi 70bhp model, owned about 5 years now & car has now done 170000 miles,it's been a great car & always been reliable but recently started stalling/cutting out/difficult starting, we found air in fuel line clear hose so cut back hoses under airfilter housing & repaired with new rubber fuel hose, car started run fine, went to put the air filter housing back on car while it was running but whilst putting on it stalled & now will not start at all, suspect i knocked a connection somewhere but don't seem to be able to see what so am wanting diagnostics, i've already got an obd11 reader (brought for Skoda i've got) but obviously doesn't work so looked at lexia but looks like i need xp laptop, mines windows 10, don't want to spend a fortune on dealer diagnostics prices due to low value of my car & don't want to buy an old xp just for this, does anyone local in the DL8 area have lexia & want to earn a few beer tokens or got any good ideas please?
