Hi brysoni23, good going.
brysoni23 wrote:I called a mobile mechanic and advised i had a leak and he said that I need to take of the bottom tray which i did then clean as much of the oil off as possible.I took his advice and did this.
Good advice because the oil drips on the inside of the tray and makes it more difficult to find the leak.
brysoni23 wrote:The next day after parking the car on a flat surface I had multiple spills of oil on the floor. About 7 different small blobs. So to me this means the leak is high up in the engine? Is this correct?
It may not be correct, you may have lots of leaks low down, like the sump gasket.
But it may not be engine oil, could it be diesel? You can try to identify it by smell and colour and even texture.

The 2 main points would be the the top cam area and the bottom sump area, but....
You will need to have a good look with a torch, some
engine cleaner (amazon) and a cloth because its uncommon for the engine to start leaking oil and may not due to a bad gasket, maybe some blocked oilways or breather forcing the oil out.
Clean the engine and then drive the car and you can then inspect for fresh oil seeping from whatever is leaking.
With your 60K miles, did it get it correct oil and filter servicing? Which oil was used?
