Hi

New to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 2012 (62) plate C3 has within the last three months started misfiring. Initially it seemed to be just when going up a hill but now is on straight flat roads too.

I don't appear to lose any power and the rev counter does not falter at all either.

There are also no engine warning lights appearing either.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to start looking what I may be please.

Thanks

Hi Anita

I have had a slight misfire on a diesel C3 with high miles, a much older model which was due to gummed up injectors. The cause was found after running some injector cleaner in the fuel (a strong mix) and the fault disappeared. Use a double or treble dose of this injector cleaner to see if it cures yours :)

It will be a quick and cheap way to see if that was your case.
