Unable to lock the Pluriel - it senses tailgate open

If you need help with your C3 Pluriel, that seems specific to the Pluriel (like the roof), ask here. Engine and Transmission problem must be asked in the relevant topic for the problem. The Pluriel shares the same Engine, Gearbox, Brakes and Transmission as the other C3 models (see above for the correct section).

Think: Pluriel roof and rear window jobs
Did you know the Pluriel shares the engines, gearboxes, electrical, audio system, suspension, steering and running gear with the early C3?

Hi there, greetings from NZ!

I’ve scanned through the topic also did google research for hours, but no luck.
Issue: I’m unable to lock the car, as it senses the tailgate is open (also gives up the symbol in the middle display and flashes the internal light while driving). When I press the close button on the remote key, it tries to close, but the central locking opens it back.

Presumably for the same reason the roof wouldn’t open either.

The roof cables have been replaced last week at a specialist, I used the car for 5 days, I even opened the roof every now and then, it was all sweet, happy days.
Tried the battery cable off and back trick, no luck.

What I could find is the upper hatch (with the glass) apparently locks properly on the left side only when I close the hatch but not on the right side. I can even strain up the hatch a bit by hand as a result.
Latch wouldn’t lock on the right
Latch wouldn’t lock on the right

It still works normally, I mean I can open it up by pressing the button in the middle.

I checked the latches, see photos below showing what I found :

It seems I found the source of the issue, my question:
Has anyone got the same issue here before?
Is it something easy to fix?
Shall I go into Citroën dealer and get the part (new latch on the right side presumably) ordered?

Many thanks in advance

Resolved!

The issue was the central locking system actuator stick was touching the copper pipe on the right side, this protecting the latch mechanism to reach the microswitch, and also even to lock that side properly.

Hope I can help someone with this.
