Bought this pluriel just about 3 weeks ago and guess what, the roof has stopped working.
The rear window won't open when the rubber push button is pushed on the outside, neither on the inside and the roof can't be openend too, only 3 beeps of sound is given when turning or pushing the roof opening/closing button.
I also noticed that the rear screen demister doesn't function. I have checked fuse number F10 (40A) in the glove box which seemed to be fine. (earlier, before the problems occurred, I noticed that the rear screen wasn't demisting, although the demister button could be pressed)
I have read somewhere that the demister will be inactivated whenver the rear screen is stowed away. I also think that the roof is not functioning whenever the rear screen is not locked into closed position.
So my reasoning for the moment is that the rear screen is not giving a signal to the ECU? that it is locked.
That may be a broken electric wire from the switch inside the rear screen lock to the ECU, if there is any.
If I push the open button on the inside of the boot lid from inside the car, it unlocks and locks itself immediately.
I have tried to switch on/off the ignition 5 times, as read somewhere as well as pushed the roof operating button for 30 seconds, as read somewehere.
Does anyone know how to open the rear screen manually? I can't get it found on the internet

There is also fuse 'F5' - (30A) Rear window - sunroof, in the glove box area -micheldeman wrote:I have checked fuse number F10 (40A) in the glove box which seemed to be fine

Citroen Say:
andThe roof will only slide if the rear screen is properly closed.
If opening/closing of the soft roof is prohibited, there is an audible alert.
I don't know how to do this on the pluriel, is it similar to the standard 5 door as in this video?micheldeman wrote:Does anyone know how to open the rear screen manually? I can't get it found on the internet
where a screwdriver is inserted in a hole and moved to operate the catch?
There are some diagrams for the pluriel roof parts in this topic

There is also this
The full story is here: https://citroenc3owners.com/citroen-c3-p ... -t997.htmlscreeminjesus wrote:I found the fuse box and checked them. All in order. I did manage to get the boot open. There is a small round cap next to the inside handle which exposes a slot. After lots of turning the boot DIDN'T open. So I ended up taking the plastic covers off the roof cassette mechanism's either side which gave access to a single Torx bolt which holds each latch plate in position. Once the latch plates were freed the boot lid opened with the latch plates still attached. Then I removed the plastic trim covering the solenoids and freed the latch plates and fitted them back to the car. I checked the lower tail gate and the solenoids work fine so I'm less inclined to think it's a fuse related problem. At that point bad light stopped play so I'll continue tomorrow. I'm taking photo's as I go and will post them when the jobs complete.
and this too
which is an extract for opening the tailgate/boot taken from here: https://citroenc3owners.com/citroen-c3-p ... -t956.htmlcalinutz wrote:I have the same problem with the sensor button thing on the outside of the rear screen, above the "r" in citroen. I unlocked mine by folding the back seats all the way forward, crawling inside the boot, and unlocking from the inside first the tailgate, than the rear screen. First, unlock the tailgate using the inner button in the middle, and quickly push it towards outside a little bit (as far as the rear screen margin will allow it to go), and than, while keeping the tailgate pushed, unlock the rear screen using the inner middle button right above the tailgate one. That should unlock the rear screen too, so now you should have both the rear screen and the tailgate unlocked and opened.
All pictures of the parts mentioned would be most welcome

It look like someone needs to gather all the information about the pluriel roof / tailgate won't open problem, add some pictures and put the definitive guide in the pluriel tips section just above the How to replace the Pluriel rear window hinge tip.

I have removed the inside covers on each side of the rear screen. There's a round cap that you can remove and then unscrew them. Then the mechanism and solenoids become accessible. When pushing the solenoids inside on rear screen both sides, it's possible to open the rear screen an inch or two and then push the unlock button of the boot at the same time. However, the boot then opens, but the rear screen still can't be openened completely. These solenoids are for stowing away the rear screen into the boot I think. I am not much further yet in my search, but I also noticed that the inside lining of the roof has some space between the left roof bar and the lining. Not sure whether this was already there before. I have attached two pics.

I haven't been able to sort things out myself, due to lack of time. I decided to visit https://www.chevroncitroenspecialists.com/ and guess what, fixed in 30 minutes for a decent price.
It turned out to be a couple of broken cables in the rear screen.
