Pluriel roof issue

Oh well, r.i.p. me
A new full set of interslides (left & right) I ordered just arrived at my local dealer, gonna pick them up sometime within this week. ~320 Euros, Ouch!
Problem is, my local upholsterer was gone on vacation, and says it'll be at least a month till he'll be able to tackle the roof, if at all! Ouch x2
I don't wanna ruin 500 euros worth of parts by putting my old fabric back on the car again, so my only option at this point is to find a used fabric piece, quickly...
Can't seem to find anything within Greece. Or Europe for that matter. Only found one in Slovakia but they won't ship to Greece.
If anyone comes across anything locally, please let me know. I know shipping will cost a lot but I don't have many choices.

Okay, so I got the fabric back from the upholsterer, I installed all of the new interslides, and I went ahead with the installation.
Putting the roof back in the casette went ok this time, I figured out how they need to slide into one another while going in for them not to get forced and break (like it happened the first time).

However
Something happened (those little "rod" thingies popped out of the interslide - or maybe they went in that way and I didnt notice, it's just as possible - see the pics and you'll understand what I'm talking about) with the front interslides, and now the roof won't close properly or get back in the casette for me to fix them and get the roof back up.
Any Ideas on where to go from there? Basically the roof wont close and it wont get back in the casette either...
Any help will be invaluable. My local Citroen dealer doesnt handle this stuff, so you guys are my only hope!

Does anyone have any idea how I could break this pin off, while its in there?
Its the only solution I've found, should be able to let the roof sit down properly to fold back, I could then replace this whole piece with the one from my old interslide which is just fine...

With some bit of excessive force and the help of 3 more people, I was able to get the roof folded, and placed back in properly.
However, it seems like my mistake ruined the brand new cog and/or cables. Rattling noises.
I was thinking of just buying ANOTHER set and replacing it again (I've already spent so much at it, as expected, doesn't make much of a difference at this point), but when operating the roof manually it kind of seems stressed during the first half meter of it's travel.
Interslides are all new, even the old ones were in excellent shape before I broke them. Is there something I'm missing? Could the car just be cursed?
Anyway, here are some pics with the new roof in place. Also wetsanded & polished some scratches that were on the tailgate and on the left side
Plus I installed a 2Din Android head unit (Connects2 adaptor was more expensive than the unit, lol), it's quite cool, check it out!
P.S. Ordered some PDR tools to try and reduce the uglyness of the dents on the driver's door. No way I'm gonna get them perfect, but I can't get PDR done locally, so...

Could this be the cause of my problems?
The plastic that holds the guide for the cables seems to... Not hold the guide in place any more?

Cables not sitting tight enough against the cog, making them slip?
I guess that's part of the rear window and non replaceable?

P.S. Brand new cables, already ruined.
Oh well, gotta love the roof designers.

Just saw this in a video. Its french, so I dont know what it says, but any ideas/opinions/tips on a DIY fix like this?

Seems to be a common problem. The weakest part of plastic breaks when the motor tries to drive but the roof only wants to move slowly, a bit or not at all.

Well my motor mounts are ok thankfully, its just that single cable guide... But I get what you're saying, it's the same cause...

I might try a DIY fix and a new set of cables at some point and hopefully get it working...

100 euros for a second set of cables isn't much compared to what I've spent already, I reckon it's worth another shot...
I'll keep you posted when that happens!

Τίποτα, έχει ακόμα το θέμα με τον ενα απ τους οδηγούς απ τις ντίζες που που δεν μένει στη θέση του, δεν εχω ξανασχοληθεί απο τοτε (δε βοηθάει κι ο καιρός).
Ισως ασχοληθώ το καλοκαίρι να κάνω την πατέντα με τα σίδερα και τις βίδες και αν μοιαζει να κρατάει να δοκιμάσω ενα δεύτερο σετ ντίζες.
Γενικά εχω δώσει 700ε και ακόμα θέματα αυτη η οροφή, πρέπει να ήταν με LSD όποιος τη σχεδίασε
