Hi Guys,
Boot lid won't open via switches.
I went to check the fuses and this is what I found in the glove box.
Nothing like any of the diagrams I have found. When I tried to remove the plastic cover over the motor lots of water ran out. Any advice on how to unlock manually would be appreciated as I don't want to use too much force just yet.
Pluriel Manually unlock boot lid?

I don't know about a manual unlock for the pluriel boot, but you are looking in the wrong place for the fuse box.
The fuse box locations can be found here - 2002 to 2009 Engine Bay Fuse Box Locations
Pluriel looks like this
If you have water in the motor, dry it out and check the fuses, then find the leak

Cheers C3CAR,
I found the fuse box and checked them. All in order. I did manage to get the boot open. There is a small round cap next to the inside handle which exposes a slot. After lots of turning the boot DIDN'T open. So I ended up taking the plastic covers off the roof cassette mechanism's either side which gave access to a single Torx bolt which holds each latch plate in position. Once the latch plates were freed the boot lid opened with the latch plates still attached. Then I removed the plastic trim covering the solenoids and freed the latch plates and fitted them back to the car. I checked the lower tail gate and the solenoids work fine so I'm less inclined to think it's a fuse related problem. At that point bad light stopped play so I'll continue tomorrow. I'm taking photo's as I go and will post them when the jobs complete.

Thanks, we could do with some pluriel parts photos.I'm taking photo's as I go and will post them when the jobs complete.
There are 2 more fuse boxes, the hidden maxi fuse one and the engine bay one, both in that link.
Thanks for keeping us up to date.

At last I've managed to sort out the boot opening problem. Blind luck actually. Bare with me, there's a bit of a story involved. My missus tried to open the sunroof the other day but it would only go back about 4 inches. I started to think that it might be something to do with one of the override switches, there are about six scattered around the boot/lid/cassette to make sure you cannot retract the roof if the rear window position isn't correct. Any way they all seemed to be in the correct position so I opened and closed the roof a few more times then I decided to push the roof close button when the roof was already closed. Strange thing, the motor ran for a couple of seconds and there was a click. I tried the roof and Voila as the French say, it retracted fully. Result. Then I replaced the trim on the tailgate, closed it and for some reason I gave the button a press. Blow me it opened. I tried a couple of times and it seems to be fixed. I assume there is some kind of reset that occurs when pressing the roof control when the roof is closed.
