Pluriel boot slipping to one side stopping car from locking

If you need help with your C3 Pluriel, that seems specific to the Pluriel (like the roof), ask here. Engine and Transmission problem must be asked in the relevant topic for the problem. Hi all
New to this forum and new to the Citroen c3
Just purchased a plurial and at the garage, was shown boot fully working. Now, I can't get the glass part to stay up by itself, then when closing the boot, it seems to slope down at one side and doesn't close properly. I have to physically push it back up on the right side (almost as if a faulty hinge?), Then slam it, otherwise the car wont lock at all.
Is there a way of just opening the bottom hatch without touching the glass part so I don't need to fight with this each time I want to use the boot (until fixed obviously). Any ideas what could be causing the issue?
