Pluriel 2-door rear elec window

If you need help with your C3 Pluriel, that seems specific to the Pluriel (like the roof), ask here. Engine and Transmission problem must be asked in the relevant topic for the problem. The Pluriel shares the same Engine, Gearbox, Brakes and Transmission as the other C3 models (see above for the correct section).

Did you know the Pluriel shares the engines, gearboxes, electrical, audio system, suspension, steering and running gear with the early C3?

Ok, I've taken some pictures, you can see where the ends go in, the cables travel down the narrow slits in the other bit of black plastic, and I can't see how to hold the springs/white plastic things into the black plastic although I'm sure they should, in the pictures of the decent repair kits (I bought the cheapest one) it looks like there might be something to hold the plastic bit/spring in?

Sadly the ones in place were both the longer length, so I think they might be refits?

If the original set-up had worked in the past, then as long as the replacements were the same as the originals then they should also work.

YouTube has a few videos about the rear windows.
One showed a tool to pre tension cables so I made one from a plastic chopping board.
Had a lot of trouble as one of the cables seemed to short however I got around that by carefully shortening the outer casing of one to match with the cables I took off.
Unfortunately in getting ready to work by putting roof down, removing the arches and lowering all the other windows the other side rear went clunk so I am also waiting on another kit.

I too have had to repair the rear window mechanisms on both rear windows of our Pluriel. It is always the green part, in the replies, that goes. If you do not push the button as soon as you realise there is a problem then you will save the wire etc. So, having got one kit for the first window I then had spare plastic bits to mend the second one. No need to buy another kit!

Big tip, putting the whole thing together is a real pain as the springs have to be so compressed to make it all go in. So use the old springs! The whole thing will go in easier. Also, you will find one end of the mechanism where you are trying to make a connection, there are cut outs in the metal frame. These are to give you a series of fulcrums to put the end of your screwdriver in that you are using to lever it into place. Took me a while to figure that one out!
