I recently bought a 2005 Citroen C3 Pluriel. It's a lovely little car but it lets in the wet on a grand scale!
Since the recent heavy rainfall I have a huge puddle in the passenger footwell and it is very wet in the rear parcel area. As I drive along, water drips on me from the roof!
Does anyone know what the cause and cure is of this problem please?
It's getting to the point where I'm going to return the car and ask for my money back!

Welcome to the C3 forum woodruffsmum,
The pluriel is well known for leaking. Not all of them leak, but some leak lots.
There was an upgraded seal and locating pin fitted in mid 2004, but this didn't fix all the leaking ones. (yours should already have this)
The panels don't seem to fit as well on some cars than others (the quality varies, as with any mass produced car) but the result is very obvious on the pluriel.
Check there is nothing broken or damaged in the roof sealing department, rubber seals get damaged and worn, its worth a look.
Citroens solution to the problem was a new roof, not wallet (or purse) friendly.
Sorry I can't give you a 'quick fix' to the leaking roof, do keep us posted on how you get on......
Some pictures of the seals are on this site: https://keystrokesuk.com/pluriel/seals.html

I've checked with my local Citroen main dealer who have recommended new, improved seals.
The car is booked in for Friday 30th. December.

Thanks for your reply woodruffsmum.
It would be interesting to know the part numbers for the seals and the prices they charge.
If you are given this information (you may have to ask) would you mind posting this information and your experiences with the new improved seals in the new year?
Thank you!
