Hi everyone
My first post. I have been offered a lovely looking and running Pluriel. The only problem is the tapes running the length of each side of the roof. It has clearly leaked in as the seats are stained.
Not bothered as i want it for the summer as a weekender.
Are there any sealing strips thst can be replaced to make it water tight or does it look like a new roof.
The car is cheap at £400 with mot. Any advice would be welcome. No idea as the seller doesnt know if the roof works.

The roof is usually broken in several places and the part are very expensive.
If the roof leaks or doesn't work, it is a very expensive purchase at £400 because parts and labour can more than easily double that.
There are a limited number of pluriel specialists and parts are scarce.
No new roofs are available.
The roof doesn't work, because if it does then they would know that and tell you! The roof is the selling feature of the pluriel.
