My insurance sent two technicians from Nationwide, who after 60 minutes had to admit they could not change the vwindscreen because the cover on the pillars either side of the windscreen were glued on them. So I went to Citroën, and the technician there did not know either how to remove them ( as he never had to change a windscreen).... but more I looked at photos of those pillars on Ebay and more I am thinking it is not the outside layer they need to remove itself but the whole pillars! Please, if you know let me have an answer before Monday when they come back and break the outside cover of the pillars....and finish their job...and now me be left with a not so pretty looking car.

It could be that someone has had a go at sealing up a leak earlier in its life and left you with a non-standard problem?
I have never changed the windscreen and Haynes says 'don't do it'. But there is a diagram and there is no mention of glue or adhesive, only clips.nathaliel67 wrote:if you know let me have an answer before Monday when they come back and break the outside cover of the pillars....and finish their job...and now me be left with a not so pretty looking car.
