hi. i'm having problem again with my c3.

in cold weather (-10 below zero in celsium ) i'm having such a problems.

1. i can not unlock the doors with remote key buttons, but can do it with key.

the funny thing is that, when the weather is fine, sunshine... there is no problems any more and car starts.

i changed the battery to brand new, but that didn't change anything.
also checked the signal of remote key, its working.

is there any relay responsible for the cars immobiliser or something like that?

Hi guys. Delivered car to local citroen service. the fault is in damaged ecu, under steering wheel inside the car. number of part is 6239TT. Cost of the new genue part what they offered me is 330 british pound. Do i have to buy a new part or i can buy a used one. And what is the optimal price and where can i buy it, ebay?

After no results in long and desperate search in the local market for part's with 96576767XT and 96488208XT nr.
i made a order in ebay and bought part with 96576767XT nr. The other one i just could not find.

Should it work after a "plug n play" methode or do the car need some mapping or other software updates? I'm asking this, because the car is not starting after replacement...

After a car diagnostic in citroen center, problem was found in damaged com2000.
They gave me this nr "6239 TT" after which i could found the new part.

As it stands out, "6239 TT" is for 96576767XT, but ir real life, on car com2000 was with 96488208XT nr, which is 6239 GZ?

Does those part really combines and performs the same way?

It should just work, no mapping required.

When you say "the car is not starting" do you mean it doesn't turn over or it turns over (starter motor works) but doesn't fire?

If it turns over but doesn't fire up, check you have reconnected the transponder ring plug to the com2000 - it could be the immobiliser not seeing the transponder in the key.

I think 6239 TT replaces 6239 GZ, don't know why it does, but the specifications look the same on each unit.
