Dear c3 ownser’s

Last year i bought a citroën c3 after a wonderful year off driving the car. Did suddenly the front wipers not work anymore after a week of driving the car wiper’s work again but didnt go off, it goes faster when you put in the highest posistion. I tried to switch com2000 but that did not help. Then i put a new bsm did not work. One of my friends has obd so he looked for the problem with me when he readed the com2000 the signal is noticed but the signals are not going to the bsi. The only way to get off the wipers are disconect the battery and wait till all the electricity is out off the bsi or get the key out and play with the com2000 till it notice something. This a real pain in the ... some of you guys know a solution i do not want so replace my bsi becausse the progomation is very expensive in my neighbourhood.

Already thanks to read

Hi

I have seen a 2002 Citroen C3 do something similar recently.

The wipers worked fine for one journey. For the next they operated but just wouldn't stop.

Operating the stalk made no difference. The wipers operated on normal speed and would not stop. The washer jet button, slow speed and intermittent didn't function.

The other stalk for lights and indicators was not affected.

Switching off the engine and removing the key made no change, the wipers kept on wiping and didn't stop.

Disconnecting the battery did the job but as soon as it was reconnected the wipers started again, without the key.

The wipers continued to wipe for about 10 minutes of driving before the stopped by themselves. Parked in the correct position and were responsive to the com2000 as if nothing had ever happened.

The wipers are automatic

Removing the key didn't stop the wipers

There are no other faults with the car

The fault has disappeared, will it return?

I suppose I need to connect lexia to any assistance...
