Does anyone know of a good way to stick this trim down again. It is the plastic/rubber trim that surrounds the entire edge of the windscreen and on mine the sides have become loose. At speed or in blustery weather they start flapping inside the rain gutter, marking the paintwork and creating a strange noise.
I will at some time need a new windscreen but I suppose the new windscreen would include only the glass?

Hello TsC3

I don't know which year/model C3 you have, but there was a recall on the C3 picasso for the windscreen trim
https://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/apps/recalls ... 8900356A13

As for sticking it back on, any glue suitable for the materials you are bonding will be fine, try some of this Q Bond on Amazon. Maybe avoid automatic car washes in future though :)

I think you will find the trim is a part you can get from citroen without buying a new windscreen. It would be worth a visit to main dealer to view their diagrams.

C3 windscreen surround rubber (windscreen weather strip 8120-N6)
The part number for the rubber surround that covers 3 sides of the windscreen on an early model and facelift model C3 is 8120N6 and is marked as '2' in the diagram above which also shows a cross-section of the moulding.
